Senior Accountant Full Time Greenville, South Carolina - July 20, 2026 Contact Information Name: Melissa Botsoe Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email: View email address on click.appcast.io Details Closing Date: Until Filled Entry Salary: $54,371.20 annually JOB SUMMARY Assists in developing budgets and monitors expenditures of approved budgets for assigned programs. Enters and edits purchase orders for assigned programs and makes the necessary adjustments upon receipt of invoices from vendors. Processes checks to be mailed to vendors. Prepares and enters financial data into the computer. Provides computer-generated reports to Division Directors/Managers and prepares financial statements for the Board of Directors. Prepares assigned financial status reports for submission to funding sources. Reconciles bank statements for assigned bank accounts. Processes payroll. Retrieves data for appropriate cost allocation. Performs general accounting duties and other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of formal training and related experience required. At least two years of accounting experience required. Experience in payroll and preparing budgets required. Must be familiar with double-entry fund accounting. Must be able to work without close supervision and as part of a team. Problem-solving skills required. Computer skills including data entry, general accounting, payroll, and spreadsheets required. Proficiency with a calculator required. Must be able to keep accurate records and have good organizational skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Experience in ADP Workforce Now Payroll is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Experience in non-profit and/or governmental accounting is desired. * The closing date is for the convenience of SHARE.
