Job Description:

The RN in this position will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in the PCU/IMC Float unit, covering a range of specialties including General Medicine, Cardiac, Neuro, and more. Flexibility and adaptability to float into various units as needed are required.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatment regimens to patients across multiple specialties.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of PCU/IMC experience; prefer prior neuro and Epic experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Comfortable with titrating and managing Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and more.
