Position Overview The HR Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for employees and provides administrative and operational support across multiple HR functions. This entry‑level role supports day‑to‑day HR operations including benefits administration, leave management, recruiting coordination, and employee services while ensuring accurate and timely processing of HR activities. This position will work closely with HR leadership and receive ongoing training and guidance from experienced HR professionals, making it an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career professional looking to grow in Human Resources. Key Responsibilities Employee Support & HR Operations Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and route questions appropriately Answer HR department phones and monitor shared HR inboxes Provide administrative support to the HR team Manage incoming and outgoing HR mail and documentation Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within HR systems Benefits Administration Assist with benefits and 401(k) administration including enrollments, changes, and employee questions Coordinate benefit eligibility tracking and communications Support open enrollment planning and execution Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefit programs and enrollment processes Leave & Compliance Administration Administer FMLA and other Leave of Absence programs Track leave usage and maintain required documentation Coordinate with employees, managers, and third‑party administrators regarding leave processes Manage unemployment claims including responses, documentation, and follow‑up Support administration and documentation of the medical Stop Loss claims process in coordination with benefits vendors and internal HR leadership Recruiting & Onboarding Support Assist with recruiting activities including posting positions, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication Support applicant tracking and recruiting coordination activities Serve as backup support for onboarding activities as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information Reliable attendance and professional demeanor Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments Preferred Qualifications Prior HR administrative experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity strongly preferred) Working Conditions Primarily office‑based environment, based in Deer Park, TX Standard Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility as business needs require Ability to sit for extended periods and operate standard office equipment Occasional lifting of light to moderate office materials Equal Opportunity Employer We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
