AdventHealth Ottawa, a leading faith based not for profit health system, is searching for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work at our AdventHealth Ottawa Behavioral Health clinics.


About our Opportunity:

• Collaborate with Primary Care and Behavioral Health providers to manage psychotropic medications and address community behavioral health needs.
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status exams
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions using evidence-based practices
• Participate in care coordination and treatment planning
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis and treatment
• Support integrated behavioral health models within primary care settings as applicable

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Locations: AH Ottawa and AHMG Wellsville
• EMR - Epic
• Base Salary (Exempt)

The requirements for this position are:

• Masters - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• At least 2 years psychiatry experience
• ACLS and BLS obtained through the American Heart Association
• DEA License
