Remote Talent Acquisition Partner - Contract

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be a key part of our TA team, contributing to how we find and attract talent at Toast. You’ll manage the full recruitment process, focusing on building strong candidate pools, making sure candidates have a great experience, and adapting to different hiring needs.

Note : this is a fully remote, contract position based in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane).

A day in the life (Responsibilities)

• Deliver on recruiting goals and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and evolving business needs.
• Attract, source, recruit, and engage top talent for Toast’s GTM functions, predominantly Sales.
• Proactively build and maintain strong talent pipelines through strategic sourcing, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, referrals, professional networks, and creative outreach strategies to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Own end-to-end sourcing strategies for assigned roles, including market research, competitor mapping, targeted outreach, and nurturing relationships with prospective candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
• Exercise sound judgment and decision-making throughout the recruitment process, balancing business needs with candidate experience.
• Skillfully navigate complex and ambiguous hiring scenarios, partnering with hiring managers to clarify requirements, align expectations, and drive decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers through regular recruiting syncs, effective communication, and subject matter expertise.
• Develop creative sourcing and recruitment solutions, adapting strategies to address talent shortages, competitive market conditions, and changing business priorities.
• Leverage sourcing data, pipeline conversion rates, and key recruitment metrics to evaluate effectiveness, optimise strategies, and deliver efficient and impactful hiring outcomes.
• Provide exceptional service to candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Share ideas, provide updates, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve recruitment practices.

What you’ll need to thrive (Requirements)

• 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with a proven track record of recruiting across GTM functions, preferably Field Sales roles.
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in high-volume recruiting, successfully partnering with hiring managers to fill roles across various GTM functions.
• Proficiency in leveraging recruitment data and metrics to impact hiring decisions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
