Work Arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid with travel between office locations as needed

About the Opportunity

We are a growing wealth management and tax solutions firm seeking an Accountant to join our collaborative, fast-paced team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to expand their experience across tax preparation, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and client service while building a long-term career with a growing organization.

The ideal candidate will have up to five years of accounting experience and an interest in continued professional development. A CPA license is not required , although candidates who are interested in pursuing their CPA designation are encouraged to apply.

This position reports to the Tax Solutions Partner/CPA and will work closely with colleagues across our wealth management and tax solutions teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with individual and business tax preparation and related tax-support activities

- Prepare and review accounting records, reconciliations, and financial reports

- Support payroll processing and related reporting requirements

- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

- Maintain accurate client and financial records

- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities

- Assist with tax planning and client information requests

- Prepare reports and financial information for clients and internal leadership

- Communicate professionally with clients regarding accounting, payroll, and tax-related matters

- Collaborate with wealth management and tax professionals to provide a coordinated client experience

- Maintain appropriate confidentiality and safeguard sensitive client and financial information

- Travel to our Cranberry Township, New Castle, Bridgeville, and Canfield offices as needed for client meetings and team collaboration

- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as the firm continues to grow

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

- Entry level through approximately five years of relevant accounting experience

- CPA license not required

- Interest in pursuing CPA licensure and continued professional growth is welcomed

- Familiarity with tax preparation, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and general accounting principles

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Strong written, verbal, and client-service skills

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

- Willingness and ability to travel between office locations for client meetings and business needs

Technology

Experience with or the ability to quickly learn:

- QuickBooks

- Salesforce

- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word

- Tax, payroll, and other accounting-related technology
