DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT: UP TO 5 WEEKS WITH POSSIBILITY TO EXTEND


SCHEDULE: 7 DAYS PER WEEK, 12-HOUR DAYS
- 4 POSITIONS NEEDED FOR DAY SHIFT - 5:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
- 4 POSITIONS NEEDED FOR NIGHT SHIFT - 5:00 PM TO 5:00 AM


TOP SKILLS NEEDED:
- 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PREPPING, SANDING, AND PAINTING
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AND BE COMFORTABLE WORKING AT HEIGHTS


GROUP INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED TWICE PER DAY UNTIL ALL POSITIONS ARE FILLED.

• Responsible for the efficient and safe execution of surface preparation, painting, coating, and maintenance tasks.
• Perform surface preparation, including masking and sanding products before painting or sandblasting.
• Clean and maintain paint booth preparation and undercoating areas, preservatives, lubricants, equipment, and work areas.
• Apply coatings according to customer specifications and job requirements.
• Clean and store empty paint containers for recycling.
• Maintain and replace paint booth media filters and surface-protectant coatings as needed.
• Properly contain and dispose of hazardous waste generated from normal paint shop operations.
• Under general supervision, spray paint small component parts prior to assembly and final coating.
• Follow work orders and specifications to determine the required paint system for each job.
• Complete required paint inspection documentation for each individual work order.
• Perform routine and varied tasks as assigned and comply with all company safety and HSE policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial surface preparation, sanding, and painting operations.
• Must have experience working at heights and be comfortable performing work at elevated locations.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications, coating requirements, and established paint procedures.
• Ability to follow safety, environmental, hazardous-waste, and HSE procedures.
