Job Description

Shift: PRN (Per Diem) as needed to include overnight, weekends, holidays Address: 2293 Sandlake Rd

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
• Reviews patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as Fuji/Agfa PACS application, CT scanners and workstations Siemens SyngoVia, EMR such as Cerner/Epic. Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures. Maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures. Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, shielding and distance to keep exposure levels as low as reasonably achievable for patients and staff. Ability to complete exams in an acceptable time frame to meet ED/Observation TAT goals. Ability to assess, start and confirm appropriate placement of IV's for use in CT studies. The ability to assess, explain and perform CT and XR studies on patients of all ages. Ability to learn and complete CTA Reconstructions. Specifically, Cardiac CTA. Past CTA Reconstruction skills.

Education

• High School Grad or equivalent [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 3+ years radiology experience [Preferred]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) [Required] OR
• Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required]
