Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Medical Lab Scientist , you will help the medical staff and caregivers analyze and report complex tests so they can aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients . Every day you will execute a wide range of analytical procedures across various lab disciplines (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, etc.) . You will be expected to analyze specimens, operate/maintain instruments, perform and report complex test procedures, provide excellent patient care through clinical correlation and rapid critical value notification, act as a 'group leader' assisting other staff, train new employees and students, and be responsible for quality control and supply inventory . To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a strong scientific foundation, advanced technical proficiency, exceptional problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail, with a paramount commitment to accuracy and regulatory adherence .
