Job Opportunity: Business Operations Specialist Location: Irvine, CA (Irvine Campus) - 800 Roosevelt, Irvine, CA 92620 Job Type: Full-time (40 Hours/Week) Start Date: ASAP Who we are Think Academy Irvine ( a 100% owned subsidiary of TAL Education Group (NYSE: TAL), is a recently established education technology (Ed-Tech) company providing K-4 extra‑curricular learning services through science and technology. At Think Academy, we provide full‑cycle service to foster local children’s ability to think critically, strengthen their logic skills, and help them fulfill their goals through innovative teaching techniques. We believe love and technology can make education better. More than 200 students are enrolled in Think Academy Irvine classes. Whom we are looking for We are hiring a Business Operations Specialist who also teaches a limited number of classes to stay closely connected with students, parents, and classroom realities. You will be accountable for business outcomes, not just participation. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into campus leadership, understands execution, and is comfortable taking ownership. What You Will Do Part I: Business Operations (Primary Focus) Own and drive key campus business goals (renewals, parent satisfaction, execution quality) Coordinate daily campus operations and cross‑functional tasks Support student enrollment, renewals, and parent communications Identify operational problems and push solutions to completion Act as a key execution partner to the Campus Principal Part II: Teaching Teach 2–3 math classes per week (Pre‑K–Elementary level) Use Think Academy curriculum and teaching guidance Maintain teaching quality to stay connected with classroom realities Teaching load is not the core KPI, but a required responsibility How You Can Be Qualified Bachelor’s degree or above (Education, STEM, Business, or related fields preferred) Strong sense of ownership and accountability Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, imperfect environment Clear communication skills with parents, teachers, and internal teams Willing to work during the weekends and take responsibility for results Teaching experience is a plus, but not required Passion for education with execution capability, not just enthusiasm Pay Structure Base Salary + Teaching Fee + Performance Bonus Teaching compensation will be provided for assigned classes Performance and compensation will be reviewed twice per year Annual Compensation ~$65,000 Benefits Medical insurance and 401(k) Hands‑on experience in an education‑driven environment Potential for future full‑time employment opportunities based on performance Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Think Academy is an equal‑opportunity employer.
