$18.00 - $26.00/hr* Full time Shifts may vary Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and staying organized? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. You will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members. What You'll Do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with team members, and be flexible to the needs of the business by working in other areas when needed. Be an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes and make‑up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training, and product quality. Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence by maintaining the work area, ensuring quality and date‑control standards, securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions. Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience, executing the basics at the highest level of quality, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards; use the Open Door Policy and apply them in business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; determine improvement opportunities; and adapt to change.
