Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An established grocery store pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Retail Pharmacist for an ongoing part-time opportunity. This position offers a flexible rotating schedule and provides an excellent opportunity for pharmacists looking for consistent part-time hours with long-term potential.

The Pharmacy Manager is flexible and willing to work with candidate availability, making this an ideal fit for pharmacists seeking work-life balance while remaining active in a retail setting.

Schedule:

Week 1:
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Total: 24 Hours

Week 2:
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Total: 17 Hours

Schedule flexibility available based on candidate availability and pharmacy needs.

Responsibilities:
• Verify prescriptions and ensure medication accuracy
• Provide patient counseling and education
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and technician support
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver strong customer service in a retail environment

Requirements:
• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Schedule flexibility when needed
• McKesson Enterprise experience preferred but not required
