Maintenance Director

Azura of Brookfield is looking for a dependable and experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance and upkeep of our community while ensuring our residents have a safe and welcoming place to call home.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the community
• Complete and prioritize maintenance requests and work orders
• Perform and coordinate general repairs and preventative maintenance
• Maintain the interior and exterior of the building, grounds, equipment, and common areas
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, furniture, and other assets
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
• Monitor maintenance expenses and help manage the department budget
• Ensure required inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance are completed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
• Identify potential safety concerns and address issues promptly
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Work collaboratively with community leadership and other departments

What We're Looking For

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or building operations experience
• Leadership experience or the ability to effectively lead and organize maintenance operations
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
• A dependable, hands-on leader who takes pride in their work
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Willingness to learn and grow within the Azura team
