Field Service Engineer (4+ years)

Medtronic

Field Service Engineer supporting Medtronic's Hugo robotic-assisted surgery platform. Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots advanced medical systems at healthcare facilities while providing technical support and training to clinical staff. Role requires 4+ years of clinical field service experience and willingness to travel up to 75% within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and upgrade medical equipment and integrated systems at customer sites
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and system-level technical issues
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system performance evaluations
Provide technical guidance and operational training to clinical and customer support teams
Document service activities, technical findings, and corrective actions accurately

Requirements

4+ years clinical field service, customer support, or medical device service experience
Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting complex equipment and integrated systems
Field-based technical service support in healthcare environments
Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned territory
Strong English written and verbal communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
