Respiratory Therapist

ShiftKey, LLC seeks experienced Respiratory Therapists to provide high-quality respiratory care across partner healthcare facilities using our digital shift marketplace. In this flexible, contract role, you’ll assess and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders, manage ventilators and oxygen therapy, perform ABGs and related diagnostics, and document care in facility EHRs. You choose when and where you work, accepting shifts that match your skills. Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to implement care plans, uphold infection control standards, and ensure safe, evidence-based respiratory care in fast-paced clinical settings. Provide respiratory assessment and treatment for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions Set up, manage, and troubleshoot ventilators and non‑invasive ventilation equipment Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy per provider orders Perform and interpret basic arterial blood gases and related respiratory diagnostics Document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses in facility EHR systems Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to develop and adjust respiratory care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies, equipment use, and self‑care techniques Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in all clinical activities Use ShiftKey’s digital marketplace to select and confirm shifts across partner facilities Adapt quickly to different facility protocols, workflows, and patient populations Ventilator management Airway management Arterial blood gas interpretation Respiratory assessment Oxygen therapy administration Non‑invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP) Patient education Infection control procedures Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Use of clinical scheduling/shift marketplace platforms Current state Respiratory Care Practitioner license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) BLS certification ACLS preferred PALS/NRP preferred Experience with ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment Familiarity with EHR systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Shiftkey, LLC
