Senior Engineer, Full Stack

Role Description

As a Senior Engineer, you will:

• Make an impact on the whole team, not just on specific parts of it.
• Research, create proofs of concept, and introduce new technologies.
• Own the technical design, development, maintenance, and operational responsibilities for one or more projects or products.
• Mentor others to accelerate their career growth and encourage participation.
• Enforce team processes, ensuring everybody understands the benefits and tradeoffs.

These are the types of things you’ll be working on:

• Use GoLang, Python, and Java experience to develop, deploy, and maintain backend applications.
• Version control using Git and GitHub.
• CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
• Frontend development using Angular, HTML, and TypeScript.
• Database development using SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Cloud infrastructure with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Qualifications

• Experience with GoLang, Python, Angular/TypeScript, and Java (at least 3).
• Frontend development experience with frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, etc.
• Cloud Experience (ideally AWS).
• Experience in Agile development methodology.
• Experience with IaC ideally Terraform.
• Knowledge of end-to-end fully automated CI/CD pipelines, from committing code to deploying to production.
• Relational Database experience.

Requirements

• Able to meet the requirements to hold a position of Public Trust, including successful completion of a US Government background investigation.
