A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months. Pay Range : $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work Working on the Age-Friendly Unit means joining a team that is committed to providing excellent care to geriatric patients. Our patients are typically 65 and above, and care is centered around the 4Ms—What Matters, Mentation, Medication, and Mobility. Our geriatric care encompasses GI, respiratory, diabetes, cardiac, and infectious issues while patients are on the medical unit. We value professional governance and unit-level feedback through the Unit Coordinating Council to improve practices. We encourage continued learning through Clinical Ladder Advancement and Professional Certifications. Our 28-bed Age-Friendly Unit emphasizes 4Ms, with Exercise Physiologists aiding mobilization and prevention of deconditioning. A Geriatric Pharmacist reviews medications for delirium prevention and optimal plans, and Geriatric APPs and a Gerontologist contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and geriatric consults. Expectations & Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association What You’ll Do As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication to lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
