Job Description - Housekeeping Houseperson - Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines (HOT0CJAO) The coastal retreat with breathtaking views is located along the Torrey Pines Golf Course and overlooks the sunny shores of La Jolla. The property boasts almost 40,000 square feet of event space, 2 dining venues, and 394 guest rooms. The ideal candidate will have schedule flexibility, ability to communicate in English, and previous hotel housekeeping experience is highly preferred. Shift Pattern & Compensation Shift pattern: Morning shift, weekends and holidays are required. Responsibilities As a Houseperson, you will clean and maintain designated areas of the hotel and respond to guest requests to deliver outstanding guest service and support financial profitability. You will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures; vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, wash windows, clean/wax floors, remove and dispose of trash, and empty ashtrays. Greet guests in a friendly manner. Report maintenance deficiencies and items needing repair. Stock and maintain supply rooms as needed. Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (e.g., mattress flipping, furniture moves) as required. Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
