About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead the manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, sourcing, integrated business planning, safety, quality, and trade compliance oversight for the Americas region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the operations strategy, leading the integrated business planning process, and ensuring that all functions are integrated to meet customer and contractual commitments. This role requires a leader who can drive a world-class safety culture, improve delivery, reduce cycle times, and achieve financial commitments. The VP of Operations will also be tasked with promoting change, developing a world-class manufacturing organization, and providing a safe work environment for employees. Candidates for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business management, or a related discipline, with a preference for an MBA or Master's degree. A minimum of 15 years of closely related experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong background in operations, quality, and/or materials management, is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of supervisory or management experience and at least 7 years of experience in a CI/Lean manufacturing environment. Experience in multi-site facility consolidation, acquisition integration, and working in a union environment is also preferred. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a deep understanding of advanced manufacturing processes.
