Receptionist/Kennel Technician

Your Impact as a Receptionist/Kennel Technician Be the Director of First Impressions: You'll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care. Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently. Provide Personalized Care: You'll be the primary caregiver for our boarding and daycare pets, ensuring they receive the correct food, exercise, and attention to make their stay comfortable and safe. Monitor Health & Wellbeing: You'll observe animal behavior closely and communicate any concerns to the medical team to ensure timely care. Maintain a Clean & Safe Environment: You'll take pride in the cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas, runs, and shared spaces to uphold the highest standards of care. Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible. Lead with Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own. What You'll Bring to the Team A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment. A collaborative, team‑first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction. Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required. Be able to handle patients that are 75+ lbs. The pay range for this position is $14.50-$17.50 per hour based on experience.
