JOB SUMMARY

Epiq Solutions is seeking a highly responsive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Sales Support Representative to provide day-to-day operational support to our sales organization and help deliver an exceptional experience to both internal and external customers.

A primary focus of this role is supporting the sales team through the timely and accurate preparation of customer quotes, effective follow-through, and proactive coordination across the organization. The Sales Support Representative serves as an important connection between Sales, customers, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams, helping ensure requests are handled accurately, issues are resolved efficiently, and commitments are clearly communicated.

Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail and responsiveness, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine service mindset. The ideal candidate is articulate, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of requests from initial inquiry through resolution. This individual should be a natural problem-solver who anticipates needs, asks questions when information is incomplete, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Quoting Support

• Serve as a primary day-to-day support resource for the sales team, responding promptly to requests and helping move customer opportunities forward.
• Prepare, review, and deliver customer quotes with a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and responsiveness.
• Confirm pricing, product configurations, terms, lead times, and other relevant information before quotes are issued.
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or potentially inaccurate information and proactively resolve questions before a quote is finalized.
• Prioritize quote and sales-support requests based on customer needs, business priorities, and required response times.
• Track open requests and follow through to completion, ensuring commitments and next steps do not get lost.
• Support sales follow-up activities and customer communications as needed.
• Proactively quote service contracts, renewals, and other recurring customer requirements.

Internal & External Customer Service

• Provide an elevated level of service to both the internal sales team and Epiq customers, recognizing both as key customers of the Sales Support function.
• Respond professionally and promptly to customer inquiries by email and phone, providing product, order, quote, and general sales assistance.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, adapting communication appropriately for sales team members, customers, and cross-functional partners.
• Take ownership of questions and issues through resolution rather than simply redirecting requests to another department.
• Proactively communicate status, delays, changes, or issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Develop strong working relationships with the sales team and become a trusted resource for accurate information and reliable follow-through.

Order & Sales Administration

• Process customer orders, forms, applications, and requests accurately and promptly.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy and resolve discrepancies before processing.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, quote, and related information within Salesforce.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and actively support data accuracy, reporting, and process improvement.
• Generate spreadsheets, reports, and other materials in support of Go-To-Market (GTM), sales, and business review meetings.
• Maintain customer support forums, entitlements, service agreements, and related records.
• Provide administrative support to the sales organization as needed, including meeting coordination, preparation, and other sales-related activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Problem Solving

• Serve as a liaison between Sales, Operations, Production, Finance, and other internal teams to help resolve customer and sales-related issues.
• Proactively communicate matters such as changes in lead times, late deliveries, customer requests, order questions, or other issues affecting customer commitments.
• Investigate issues, gather the appropriate information, identify potential solutions, and help drive matters to resolution.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to identify opportunities to improve quoting, customer service, sales support, and internal processes.
• Collaborate with Finance to support credit card orders and assist with resolution of customer billing or payment issues.
• Assist with sales and marketing initiatives and Go-To-Market activities as needed.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in sales support, inside sales, customer service, sales operations, order administration, or a related customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage detailed customer quotes, orders, or similar transaction-based documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Keen sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to respond quickly while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with internal and external customers.
• Strong customer-service orientation and desire to help others succeed.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to work, with the ability to anticipate needs and identify issues before they become problems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment; comfortable researching issues and determining appropriate next steps.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and competing priorities.
• Demonstrated follow-through and personal accountability for commitments.
• Collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships across functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform; willingness and ability to develop deeper Salesforce expertise.
• Ability and willingness to learn Epiq’s products, services, customers, pricing practices, and sales processes.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for occasional overtime based on business needs.
