Service Technician

NuTek Machinery — which imports, sells, and services premium European woodworking machinery (Ott, KRC CNC, Omaksan, and Jowi) — is hiring a Service Technician based in Bedford, OH. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery at customer sites across North America and support customers by phone. This is a hands‑on, travel‑heavy field-service role and is central to everything we do. What you will do: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system faults on edgebanders, CNC routers, and boring/drilling centers. Install and commission new machinery at customer sites. Provide phone and remote technical support to customers and dealers. Perform preventative maintenance and train customer operators. Represent NuTek at industry trade shows. What we are looking for: 2+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical experience on industrial or woodworking machinery, or an equivalent military or technical background. Ability to read electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams; comfort with PLC- and CNC-controlled equipment. Valid driver license and willingness to travel, including overnight.
