Your Mission in Action:

The Customer Service Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for families, schools, donors, and community members, providing exceptional support throughout the scholarship process. This role responds to inquiries, assists families with applications, and ensures a positive experience for all stakeholders. The specialist will also learn and promote Arizona tax credit opportunities, helping educate and engage donors in support of scholarship funding. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about expanding educational opportunities through Arizona Tuition Connection's mission.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Family Support

• Serve as a front-line representative for Arizona Tuition Connection by answering incoming phone calls, emails, text messages, and other inquiries.
• Provide accurate information regarding scholarship programs, eligibility requirements, application processes, and deadlines.
• Assist families with completing scholarship applications and navigating the STO process.
• Resolve questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and empathetically.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects ATC's mission and values.

Outreach & Communications

• Manage outbound communication campaigns through text messaging, email, and direct mail.
• Coordinate scholarship deadline reminders, application updates, and general organizational communications.
• Maintain communication schedules and ensure timely follow-up with families and stakeholders.
• Assist with the creation and review of outreach materials and messaging.
• Track and report communication effectiveness and engagement.

Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate records within customer relationship management and scholarship management systems.
• Process and update family, donor, and student information with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist with application processing, document collection, and record maintenance.
• Support reporting and data entry needs as assigned.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build positive relationships with families, schools, donors, and community partners.
• Respond to inquiries professionally and represent the organization with warmth and professionalism.
• Serve as a trusted resource for stakeholders throughout the scholarship process.
• Support outreach and community engagement initiatives.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced service delivery.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, mission-driven culture.
• Support special projects and seasonal initiatives as needed.
• Demonstrate accountability, flexibility, and a team-first attitude.
