Shipping Lead

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:30 PMResponsibilities Include:Complete the pre-shift checklist (e.g., turn on chucks, gather supplies and materials, etc.).Work in coordination with the supervisor to assign daily priorities and participate in shift meetings.Partner with supervisor to identify root causes of exception and QC diverts. Communicate all performance issues to the supervisor.Inspect outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.Track quality variances and identify when other process improvements are needed.Partner with an on-site trainer to mentor new employees. Ensure that SOPs and DC policies are being followed.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Dress Code-Specifics RequiredAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.When volume demands, pick customer orders for shipment, ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked.
