Job ResponsibilitiesAdvises cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologiesApplies enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis, roadmap development, and design decisioning, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and prioritiesCreates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design, focusing on durability and reuse to improve velocity and quality across teams and functionsDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersServes as the function’s go-to subject matter expert and contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesEstablishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain practices, ensuring traceability/auditability, resiliency, and security controls. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on architecture concepts and 10+ years applied experience Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExpertise in one or more programming language(s)Deep knowledge of software, applications, and architecture, including advanced software architecture, application development, and technical processes within one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Demonstrated experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment in architecture and engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into scalable platforms while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability requirements.Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplinesExperience leading a product as a product owner or product managerAbility to present and effectively communicate to senior leaders and executives Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience working at code levelFamiliarity with agentic AI tooling (Claude Code, Copilot, MCP) and its application to platform operations and engineer productivityExperience with cloud landing zone and boundary constructs (portfolio, network, workload boundaries; trust scopes; SEAL-style architecture registration)Background in developer experience, technical enablement, or platform advocacy roles JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
