Sr Manager Financial Planning & Analysis

Sr. Manager Financial Planning & Analysis

As the Sr. Manager Financial Planning & Analysis at Nations Lending, you will provide executive management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting by delivering analytics that will help drive financial performance. This will be done by compiling and analyzing both financial and operational data across the business footprint and functions.

Position Duties

Metric Development, Analysis & Reporting

Provide transparent analytical assessment of monthly and quarterly financial results to CFO and Executive leadership
Analyze drivers of business performance, as part of business reviews and ad hoc projects.
Provide insights on key business dimensions (KPIs): products, verticals, regions, customer segments, acquisition cohorts, customers volume/value.
Develop/maintain financial models to enable analytics around trends, performance, and outlook.
Develop and track key operating metrics across functional areas of the company

Financial Improvement

Improve financial status and performance by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; providing creative alternatives and recommendations
Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collect operational data
Assist in driving the annual budgeting process
Automate backend pipelines and frontend reports.
Define and track meaningful metrics to support decision making.
Create models that connect the KPIs to the P&L, CF and headcount.

Benchmarking & Forecasting

Forecast short-term and long-term business growth.
Develop and maintain financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
Identify, track, and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making
Lead the operating forecast and budget.
Prepare and lead monthly financial reviews with leadership members.
Provide ad hoc analysis to drive actionable recommendations to leadership.
Develop/maintain financial models to enable analytics around trends, performance, and outlook.
