Job TitleDrywall FramerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Drywall Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience framing walls, ceilings, and soffits for commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling metal or wood framing for walls, ceilings, and partitions according to blueprints and specifications. Install drywall panels, ensuring precise alignment, proper fastening, and a quality finish. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to ensure timely project completion. Review drawings and layout plans to verify dimensions and placement before installation. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition. Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times. Assist in material takeoffs and ensure efficient use of supplies.RequirementsRequirements include a minimum of 5 years of experience in drywall framing, preferably in commercial construction. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications. Strong understanding of framing layout, measuring, and leveling techniques. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights when necessary. Reliable transportation and a valid Texas Driver's License required.
