This 12‑month tenure‑track position emphasizes teaching social administrative science courses in the didactic curriculum. Faculty are expected to uphold the highest professional ethics consistent with UIW Mission. Official duties include teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities. Essential Functions Participate in curriculum development and advancement of the respective program. Prepare and deliver interactive didactic course lectures aligned with curriculum goals. Work collaboratively with departmental faculty to ensure curriculum outcomes and accreditation standards are met. Prepare and administer timely and meaningful exams, projects, and assessments for assigned courses. Precept research projects, as needed. Advise and mentor students; provide individual assistance during weekly office hours. Adhere to UIW Faculty Handbook policies and processes including timely record keeping, fair evaluation of student performance, and timely feedback. Maintain respectful relationships with faculty, staff, and students both inside and outside the classroom. Conduct scholarly research and publication. Provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong commitment to teaching excellence and continuing scholarship with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with students and faculty in curriculum delivery. Proficiency in use of instructional technology. Ability to actively engage students in the learning process. Ability to conduct respectful relationships with students outside the classroom. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Adherence to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, conference, and NCAA. Required Education PhD in a Social Administrative Sciences or translational sciences field, OR PharmD with 15 credit hours in a social administrative science field, OR PhD candidates with expected completion by date of assignment will be considered. Required Work Experience Assistant Level – no experience required. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a teaching assistant or faculty member in a School of Pharmacy; additional consideration will be given to candidates with a pharmacy background. Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations N/A. Work Hours Typical Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional extended hours/weekends as needed.
