Travel - Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to independently perform all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine in Olney, IL. The assignment is a 13‑week temporary contract (5×8 shifts). The role requires maintaining safe and effective examinations, accurate record‑keeping, and collaboration with physicians. Responsibilities Acquire and process patient studies using technical knowledge and good judgment. Set up reading rooms for physicians and maintain accurate daily records. Demonstrate professionalism, including personal performance evaluation and continuous growth. Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Adhere to hospital/departmental policies and procedures. Identify and implement performance improvement activities and financial accountability opportunities. Communicate effectively with co‑workers and patients. Qualifications Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with current license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers. BSN from an accredited nursing program (preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
