Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school setting near Portland, ME. Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Previous experience in a school environment highly desirable
- Knowledge of functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and the ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Familiarity with current ABA practices and compliance standards
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Provide direct support and training to teachers and staff in ABA techniques and behavior management strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed, ensuring continuity of care and support
- Document services according to school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as a resource for families, offering guidance and support as part of the educational process
