Join Our Team as an OBGYN Physician

We are currently looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN to become a part of our OB Hospitalist Program at Eden Medical Center, located in Castro Valley, California. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in hospital-based obstetrics within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct OB triage, patient assessments, and management.
• Attend deliveries and provide surgical assistance.
• Handle emergency Cesarean sections, with trauma surgery support available if necessary.
• Perform gynecologic consultations and urgent/emergent surgeries.
• Monitor fetal health and provide emergency department coverage for OB/GYN patients.

You will collaborate closely with local OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine specialists from a nearby facility, and a dedicated in-house team that includes pediatric hospitalists, trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, adult hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine professionals.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in California.
• Current DEA license.

Eden Medical Center, part of the Sutter Health Network, serves as the regional trauma center for Southern Alameda County, delivering around 1,200 babies each year. Established in 2012, the facility features:
