Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood students as a 1:1 paraprofessional with CNA experience. This role is located in a supportive educational setting, dedicated to fostering student well-being and growth. The assignment runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, with consistent daytime hours (8:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week) and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. In this position, you’ll make a daily difference by aiding a student in a nurturing learning environment.

Desired Experience & Required Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid DE Paraeducator Permit; candidates with permits in process will not be considered
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) background required
• Experience as a school paraprofessional or in school-based support preferred
• Comfortable working closely with young children in a 1:1 setting
• Knowledgeable in feeding assistance, transfers to adaptive equipment, and personal care needs
• Commitment to reliable, full-time weekday hours (8:30am-4:00pm)
• Ability to prompt, engage, and ensure student safety at all times
• Adaptable and able to work collaboratively with school staff and specialists

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support with feeding, toileting, and safety monitoring throughout the school day
• Assist with student transfers to and from specialized equipment
• Foster participation and engagement in the classroom environment
• Maintain open communication with educational staff regarding student needs
• Document activities and observe the student’s progress daily
