Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting an early childhood student in a specialized environment near Bear, DE. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals seeking hands-on experience as a 1:1 paraprofessional with a strong background in CNA duties.

In this position, you'll be working 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The assignment runs from August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027, at a dedicated early childhood center. Your expertise will make a significant difference in one student's school experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required; pending or in-process applications will not be accepted.
• Current CNA licensure with hands-on experience in feeding, transferred assistance, use of specialized equipment, and diapering.
• Ability to prompt child engagement and monitor for safety with diligence and sensitivity.
• Willingness and capacity to work specified hours and fulfill all physical responsibilities.
• If you hold an RBT credential, supervision arrangements are not provided; the district and agency will treat this as a paraprofessional assignment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, day-to-day support to a single early childhood student, assisting with mobility, daily hygiene needs, and engagement in classroom activities.
• Safely implement transfers and manage specialized equipment use.
• Feed the student and ensure proper nutrition standards are maintained.
• Maintain a vigilant watch to support student safety throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to ensure inclusive learning and socialization.
