Role Description The Financial Representative is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role involves meeting with individuals, families, and businesses to assess their financial needs and develop tailored strategies across insurance, retirement, and investment solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting financial analyses, presenting recommendations, and guiding clients through product options while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Financial Representative will build and maintain a portfolio of clients, follow up regularly to adjust plans as needs evolve, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a coordinated client experience. The role also includes prospecting new clients, attending local networking events, and staying current on market trends and Guardian's offerings. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to help clients develop holistic short- and long-term strategies. Knowledge of Insurance products and solutions to address risk management and protection needs. Strong understanding of Finance and Investments to support wealth-building and asset allocation decisions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship-building abilities. Proven aptitude for consultative sales, prospecting, and business development. Ability to analyze financial data, interpret regulations, and apply ethical judgment in all interactions. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred; relevant professional licenses and designations (such as life and health insurance licenses, securities registrations, CFP®) are a plus.
