Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NY Licensure Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - VAD experience, specifically with HeartMate 3 - Cardio Thoracic experience required - CABG experience required - Transplant experience with heart and lungs required - Coronary bypass experience required - TAVR experience required - Valve replacement experience required - Knowledge of management of arrhythmias - Experience with heart failure and transplant medications - Experience with liver and kidney transplants required - Ability to float to ICU Description: 12-hour shifts are required. Experience with the EPIC charting system is required. This is a position in a large, reputable facility. Pass/fail testing will be given on the first day of orientation. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in the stepdown unit. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The candidate must demonstrate excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
