Sr Business Systems AnalystThe DMV is looking for candidates for a Business Analyst role focusing on working in DMV work centers to understand and document their process flows. The outcome will be to build requirements for development of work tracking dashboards and offer process improvements to the existing workflows.Below are the general work requirements. Also, please note that the Commonwealth has a limited telework policy and we would like this position to be onsite to complete their assignments.Knowledge, Skill, AbilitiesExperience working in an Agile development environment.Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar Agile workflow toolsIntermediate understanding of SQL and common SQL dialectsData analysisProcess analysisProject managementDetail oriented and self-motivatedCore Responsibilities:Partner with business teams to understand and document current workflows and processes, including the creation of process flows and diagrams.Ability to review and assess at a conceptual level how business processes translate into data/records creation within source systemsTranslate business unit reporting needs into functional requirements for Data Engineering staffAuthor and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentationTrain business stakeholders on the use of new dashboards and applications developed by Data Engineering teamManage multiple assignments, changing priorities, and work independently with little oversightDocumentation, reporting, presentation, teamwork, and DMV wide collaborationAbility to autonomously prioritize and successfully deliver across a portfolio of projectsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experienceThree to five years related work experienceProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent written and oral skills, ability to work closely with multiple customers, manage expectations and track engagement scope
