Provider Relations Representative

Description Under the supervision of the USFHP leadership team, the Provider Relations Representative functions as a liaison among the contracted physician/specialist under the USFHP Health Plan. This position provides on-going communication, in-service, orientation, and direction to these contracted providers. The Provider Relations Representative manages provider rosters to ensure accuracy of our provider data that supports our claims system and provider directory. Required Qualifications: 1 year experience working with physicians in a managed care/IPA, Medical group, health plan or MSO environment with Provider Relations or Customer Service experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management. 2 years managed care Provider Relations experience. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and IDX. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
