Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, the largest distributor of alcoholic beverages in the United States, is seeking a Chain Sales Merchandiser for our Food & Beverage Operations Sales & Business Development team. In this role, you will support a designated territory of chain retail accounts, ensuring that Southern Glazer’s portfolio of wine and spirits is merchandised to the highest standards and that our products are easy for customers to find, purchase, and enjoy.

As a Chain Sales Merchandiser, you will visit assigned grocery, club, and other chain locations on a regular route schedule. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building and maintaining displays, and executing approved planograms in accordance with both customer and company guidelines. You will work closely with store management and department leads to secure optimal shelf placement, install promotional materials, and support feature activity that drives sales and brand visibility.

You will partner with Sales Representatives and Chain Account Managers to help deliver sales, distribution, and execution goals within your territory. This includes monitoring inventory levels, identifying out-of-stock or low-stock situations, communicating needs to the sales team or appropriate contacts, and helping implement pricing and promotional programs. You will collect basic competitive and market information, provide feedback on customer preferences and trends, and help ensure that all company standards and local regulations related to alcoholic beverages are maintained in each account.

This field-based position requires a high level of organization, time management, and attention to detail. You will be expected to complete daily call schedules, maintain accurate records of store visits and merchandising activities, and submit simple reports through company systems. The role is physically active and requires regular lifting, bending, and moving of cases, as well as frequent driving between accounts throughout the day.
