Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for the end-to-end engineering, support, optimization, and enhancement of a large-scale Salesforce platform used across statewide public health programs. The role keeps the platform secure, stable, scalable, and compliant with technology governance requirements. The developer will lead major technical initiatives, improve integration pipelines, modernize workflows, and build internal technical capacity through training and documentation.

Key Skills

• CI/CD, automated testing, version control, and DevOps
• Security hardening, identity governance, and encryption
• Salesforce license models and platform optimization (3 years)
• Architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and process flows (3 years)
• Communication, training, and mentoring of technical staff
• Familiarity with SRE practices, resilience engineering, and performance benchmarking (preferred)

Eligibility and Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on expertise with architectural thinking and a proven ability to support mission-critical enterprise systems
• Ability to work in compliance-driven, high-security environments
• Advanced Salesforce certifications (preferred): Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud Consultant, Integration Architect, Identity & Access Management
