Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform computerized Tomography procedures, including invasive procedures, under the direction of a Radiology Manager and Radiologist.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Total Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform computerized Tomography procedures using a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner.
• Position and instruct patients for imaging procedures.
• Operate specialized equipment and determine appropriate technical factors for exposure.
• Ensure accurate marking and labeling of all imaging films.
• Provide safe and high-quality patient care consistently.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology and possess ARRT registration.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Two years of diagnostic imaging experience is desirable.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical tasks, including lifting and transporting patients and equipment.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds from the floor to wheelchair or waist height.
• Ability to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher up to 300 feet.
• Requires good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity to operate delicate imaging equipment.
• Familiarity with computer operations and good judgment/decision-making capabilities consistent with radiology practices.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care in line with established radiology policies and procedures.
