Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Start Date: 09/07/2026

End Date: 12/07/2026

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (last patient at 4:15 pm)

Shift Hours: 8 hours/day

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: Contract/Locum

Licenses/Certifications: State license required; BLS certification

Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $253.50/hr

What You'll Do

Provide outpatient endocrine care managing conditions such as hyper/hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary issues, and diabetes

Perform fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures when needed

Collaborate with support staff including RN, diabetes educator, dietitian, and APP

Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR

Manage adult and geriatric patient populations

Follow scheduled hours, maintaining efficient patient throughput

Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols

What You Need Required

MD or DO licensure in Illinois

Board certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology

BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Ability to support a consistent schedule as outlined

Preferred

Experience with outpatient endocrinology procedures (FNA)

Able to start on or near the assignment start date

Comfortable working independently with a support team
