Electrical Assembler | Switchgear 1st shift

Job Description

Previous electrical assembly or wiring experience is preferred for this hands-on role. A growing manufacturing company in Monticello, IN is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join their production team. Job Summary

The Electrical Assembler will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and installing electrical components and systems used in power modules. This role supports production by ensuring components are built accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Job Duties 

• Assemble wires and electrical components for power modules
• Operate a drill press and various hand tools
• Connect and route electrical wiring and cables
• Troubleshoot and test electrical components
• Install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, wall boxes, and terminal boards

Pay

$16.00 – $17.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Experience or Skill Requirements 

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
