Compensation:
$17.50 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Cook to join our team at Cortland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food service to our residents. Cook Shifts:
Full-time 12pm-8pm shifts, alternating weekends, and holidays.

Cook Duties:

• Prepare food as assigned according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.

• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.

• Taste all prepared food items for quality control.

• Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.

• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Cook Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired.

• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
