About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate Must-Have: High risk obstetrical bedside training Experience circulating in cesarean sections in the labor and delivery area Experience recovering high acuity patients Description: Must have experience with high-risk patients. This is a high-risk obstetrical unit focused on labor and delivery. The unit has 24 beds with estimated patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1. Fetal monitors and Meditech documentation are used in the unit. The shift consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM per week. Floating to the antepartum unit may be required. The position requires experience in high-risk labor and delivery care. Dress code requires clean scrubs, no artificial nails or extreme hairstyles. Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited. Attendance policies will be followed consistently.
