Work Environment\n

As a member of our remote team, you will work from the comfort of your own home in Peoria, Illinois, or anywhere you choose. The flexibility of our remote work policy allows for an adaptable schedule designed to meet the needs of both our therapists and their clients. Our operational hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we provide a supportive online community where you can connect with colleagues to share experiences and insights.

Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, applying evidence-based methodologies in both individual and group therapy settings via telehealth platforms.

• Design personalized treatment plans aimed at promoting client well-being and addressing their unique challenges.
\n
• Document all client interactions and treatment progress meticulously in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) and practice management system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance your clinical acumen and share best practices with fellow professionals.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities provided by the organization.

The client population at the Center for Personal Growth encompasses a diverse range of individuals seeking help for various issues related to mental health, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

• Hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possess a valid license to practice as an LMFT or equivalent in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Exhibit strong clinical skills and the ability to apply DSM V diagnostic criteria in evaluations and treatment.

• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, showing the capacity to articulate therapeutic concepts clearly to clients and peers.

• Be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently while also thriving in collaborative team dynamics.

• Maintain excellent organizational skills, managing a caseload and scheduling client sessions effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will also have the following experience:

• Prior experience in telehealth therapy, utilizing video conferencing tools to connect with clients remotely.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and others.

• Experience with practice management tools, particularly Google G-suite and TheraNest, will be a significant advantage.
