As a Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support tenants, visitors, and property staff with exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating information to appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards. Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
