IT Support Specialist (MAC / Windows)

$28 - $35 per hour

This position is a 6 month contract.

Compensation: $28 - 35/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Specialist with 2+ years of hands-on experience to manage and support our dual-OS hardware infrastructure. In this role, you will serve as a primary technical resource for end-user support, device deployment, and system configuration across both Windows and macOS environments. The ideal candidate brings strong administration skills in Intune, Jamf, and Active Directory / Entra ID to ensure seamless onboarding, device compliance, and hardware operations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for local and remote employees operating on Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network (VPN, Wi-Fi), and peripheral issues in a timely manner.
Maintain system documentation, user guides, and technical SOPs.
Administer and deploy macOS devices using Jamf Pro / Jamf Connect, ensuring policy compliance, configuration profiles, and software updates.
Manage Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, including Autopilot provisioning, compliance policies, and configuration profiles.
Manage user accounts, security groups, permissions, and group policies using Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).
Automate and streamline zero-touch provisioning for newly hired staff across both Mac and Windows systems.
Execute secure offboarding procedures, including account deactivation, device retrieval, and remote device wipes.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or Desktop Support role.
Experience troubleshooting proficiency in both Windows 10/11 and macOS.
Demonstrated experience administering Jamf (Jamf 200/300 certification is a plus).
Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint security and application deployment.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Entra ID (Azure AD).
