$40.00 - $45.00/hour Monday–Friday; Core Business Hours (On-Call Rotation Required)

Overview: Seeking a Service Desk Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for end users in a Windows-based enterprise environment. This role supports desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conference room technology, and network-related issues while delivering excellent customer service through a ticketing system. Candidates should have hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, imaging experience, and experience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.

Job Description

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment
• Install, configure, image, and deploy computer systems using enterprise imaging tools
• Manage and document support requests through ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
• Support Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office environments
• Assist with software installations, upgrades, and user account support
• Support audio/visual and video conferencing equipment
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset tracking, and knowledge base articles
• Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation
• Provide support for IT projects and site initiatives
• Travel to local office locations as required

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience (or Associate's Degree with 1–3 years of experience)
• Experience imaging computers using WDS, MDT, and SCCM
• Experience with ServiceNow, Footprints, or similar ticketing systems
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems
• Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, LDAP, SMTP, FTP, and remote access tools
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, MTA, or similar)
• ITIL certification
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online
• Linux administration experience
• Audio/Visual support experience

Education Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
• Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by applicable law
• On-site position in Melbourne, FL
• Approximately 20% travel may be required
• Opportunity for extension and/or conversion, though not guaranteed
