NDT Level II Radiographic (X-Ray Film) Tech South Windsor, CT, US Position: NDT Level II Radiographic (X-Ray Film) Technician Location: 330 Governors Highway, South Windsor, CT 06074 Company: Electro-Methods, a Stronvar Aerospace Company Overview Electro-Methods Inc., a Stronvar Aerospace company, is seeking an experienced NDT Level II Radiographic Technician (NAS 410 Certified) to perform and evaluate radiographic inspections that ensure the integrity of critical aerospace components. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a technical environment and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Perform radiographic inspections in line with NAS 410, company procedures, and customer requirements. Set up, calibrate, and operate X-ray film equipment. Interpret and evaluate results, documenting findings with precision. Conduct inspections of braze joints and welds (EB, GTAW, resistance). Train and mentor Level I and trainee personnel in best practices. Maintain compliance with AS9100, FAA, and other aerospace quality standards. Support cross-training across additional NDT methods when needed. Required Qualifications & Skills Current NDT Level II Radiography (X-ray film) certification to NAS 410 (other equivalent standards may be considered). High school diploma or equivalent. U.S. citizenship is required due to program and contract compliance requirements. Solid understanding of radiographic inspection techniques, safety, and equipment use. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Previous aerospace or industrial inspection experience. Multi-method NDT experience (PT, UT, MT, ET). Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
