Preoperative PACU Registered NurseTampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center was formed by a group of local surgeons to offer easily accessible outpatient care to Clearwater and the surrounding communities.The goal of any outpatient surgical visit is to provide the patient with a comfortable environment that focuses on their safety, supports the surgeon with the newest equipment, experienced staff, and results in a successful surgical outcome. Patients appreciate being able to recover in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and friends.Tampa Bay Joint & Spine is looking to hire a PreOp / PACU Registered Nurse on a Full Time status.Required Skills:Current Florida Nursing LicenseCurrent CPR, ACLS, and PALSGraduate of an accredited school of nursingOrthopedic and spinal surgery recovery experience REQUIREDAbility to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.Excellent communication skillsAbility to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstands principles of aseptic technique and their implementationAbility to care for patients from infancy to geriatricsExcellent teaching skillsBasic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideologyUSPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
